What an amazing assortment of classes we have this year! The Continuing Education Committee, the Rabbis, and Faculty of Temple Beth El have succeeded in creating a variety of offerings that will peak the interest of you who want the basics in Judaism, you in search of intellectual stimulation, you in search of the spiritual, you in search of the creative!

One of the names given to a synagogue is Bet HaMidrash, a house of learning - and as you will see from what follows - Temple Beth El is living up to this name!

Our classes are sorted into different subject areas to make it easy for you to find something that will suit you. Our classes are at different times of the day to make them accessible to as many individuals as possible. Some of our classes are free and some of our classes are run at cost to make them affordable for all who wish to study with us. Why? Because our priority is that you should want to be here, learning in our community!

Early Childhood Center

Our Philosophy
The Early Childhood Education Center at Temple Beth El provides children with the opportunity to learn in a happy, secure, creative and stimulating environment. It is vital to us that your child receives the very best education, care and attention. Our teachers are outstanding. Our educational programs are age-appropriate and engaging. Our environment is clean and safe, and attractive.


Our Mission

To foster academic excellence, instill a love of active learning, and provide experiences that enable our students to acquire a foundation of skills for lifelong achievement. To provide a Jewish environment that fosters the love of our traditions and heritage, and allows each family to express Judaism in its own way.

We Provide:
As part of a Reform synagogue whose history spans more than three decades, The Early Childhood Education Center is supported by a nurturing staff, caring clergy, and active families. The Center is housed in a facility equipped with learning tools unmatched in the area:

  • A Children's Library and reading area
  • Music and Art Laboratories

We have:

  • classes for "turning two's" through kindergarten.
  • Early drop-off and late pick-up provide peace-of-mind for working parents.
  • Mommy & Me classes facilitate learning and playing.

Free discussion groups provide social experiences that allow parents to share and learn together as their children develop.
